Renovated in 2014, the Milton Public Library is not your average local town library. It is a one-of-a-kind information destination. With spaces specifically designed for different age groups, every aisle, corner, and conference room is tailored to make library goers feel empowered to learn and grown their minds. The second floor houses a few special spaces for toddler and young children to stretch their limbs as well as their minds, and the isolated study and practice rooms offer teens and young adults spaces to gather study groups, books, and materials to crush their school projects.

Milton, Wisconsin boasts one of the best public libraries in south-eastern Wisconsin. With specially designed areas for each age group, the library has more than books to offer as a public learning service.
Not far away from the public library sits the Milton House, a famous stop along the underground railroad during the mid 1800’s.
Between the library and the Milton House is Milton College, Wisconsin’s first higher education location. Though the college is closed as a learning institution, it still has a lot to offer the public as an important museum of the town’s heritage, growth, and culture.
